Terms of Service

Effective April 7, 2026

Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of People Also Asked (the “Service”).

The Service is provided by PeopleAlsoAsked ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. About the Service

People Also Asked is a software service that helps users research and organise question-based search data and related search insights. Features may include search discovery, project and workspace management, saved runs, tracking, exports, and related reporting or analysis features.

We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

  • you are at least 18 years old; and
  • you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
  • if you use the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you have authority to bind that business or organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • keeping your login credentials confidential;
  • all activity that occurs under your account; and
  • promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or restrict your account if we reasonably believe your account is being used in breach of these Terms or in a way that risks harm to the Service, other users, or third parties.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals

Some parts of the Service are paid subscription features.

Prices, billing intervals, feature limits, usage limits, and plan details are shown on the pricing page or at checkout. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees shown at the time of purchase.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.comPaddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle.com provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

For purchases made through PaddlePaddle may handle checkout, payment processing, billing communications, tax collection, invoicing, and certain refund and cancellation workflows. Your purchase may also be subject to Paddle’s buyer terms, privacy policy, and checkout terms.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing page, through any Paddle customer portal or management link made available to you, or by contacting us.

If you cancel, your subscription will usually remain active until the end of the current billing period, and then will not renew. Except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate refund policy, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Refund Policy on refund-specific issues, the Refund Policy will apply.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not, and must not allow others to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purposes;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or related systems;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where that restriction is not permitted by law;
  • bypass usage limits, access controls, or security protections;
  • resell, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly authorised by us in writing;
  • use the Service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, data protection, or other rights;

  • use the Service in a manner that could damage our reputation or expose us, our providers, or our users to risk.

We may investigate breaches and suspend or terminate access where appropriate.

8. Third-Party Data and Dependencies

The Service may rely on third-party platforms, sources, infrastructure, and data providers, including search engines and other external services.

We do not control third-party services or data sources and do not guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Search results, related questions, and other outputs may change over time, vary by geography or device, or become unavailable without notice.

9. Your Content and Inputs

You retain ownership of content, keywords, project names, lists, or other materials you submit to the Service (“Your Content”).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and use Your Content only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service and to comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not violate any law or third-party rights.

10. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and content other than Your Content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service during your subscription term in accordance with these Terms.

11. Outputs and Use of Results

Subject to these Terms and any applicable third-party rights, you may use outputs generated for your internal business purposes.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use any outputs, exports, insights, or recommendations from the Service. The Service is a research and workflow tool only. It does not provide legal, tax, financial, or professional advice, and we do not guarantee SEO performance, rankings, traffic, revenue, or commercial outcomes.

12. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical changes, or product development.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • payment is overdue;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity; or
  • continued access could create risk for us, the Service, other users, or third parties.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue in effect.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:

  • your use of the Service in breach of these Terms;
  • Your Content; or
  • your violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may process personal data in accordance with that policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we may provide notice by email, through the Service, or by updating the effective date at the top of this page.

By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
